Jethro is a Singaporean filmmaker with a focus on documentary storytelling. Film is a medium that, when employed correctly, can reach the masses and evoke emotion, driving people into action. Jethro is interested in issues related to human relationships as well as emotion connections with the rhythms of the land. He constantly seeks stories which are under-represented on the silver screen, providing a voice for them. As a visual storyteller, Jethro also derives inspiration from great story tellers such as Werner Herzog, Steven Bognar and Alfonso Curon.

Jethro also has a keen eye for colour and strives to create moving images. He constantly hones his craft of color grading and cinematic lighting. With moving characters and strong visuals, Jethro strives to move the audience at all levels of the human spirit.

Film exposes a collective consciousness of a community and reveals a common narrative. Jethro wants to challenge those norms and push for greater understanding.
